An artist book of 40 pages bound in a wooden cover, inserted in a paper slipcase at an edition of 40. 29,5x25 cm. Paper: BFK Rives 250g. Technique: original lithography, woodcut, collage, hand intervention, letterpress, monotype, pigment printing and lasercut.

This project was designed by the artist and Michael Woolworth. Printing by Gaëtan Girard, Paul Moragues, Léa Tupper and Michael Woolworth. Letterpress by Pascal Duriez; Bookbinding at Atelier Houdart; slipcase by Stéphanie Dumont; Pigment printing with I-Labo; Lasercutting at Cutter. The photogravures were crafted by Vincent Fardoux.

As of 2011, Blaise Drummond started straight up drawings in pencil on lithographic stone. A parallel line of work to our complex process with images in color. One could say the following images act as repose to time spent on the color compositions.

Blaise Drummond
Born in 1967 in Liverpool (United Kingdom).
Lives and works in County Longford (Ireland).

Our first collaboration was a co-edition with the museum of the Musée de Sables d’Olonne in France for his solo show in 2006. Since we invited him back in 2010, he has travelled to Paris to work at the shop every year, thus far producing more than 20 prints with us. Before each trip, countless e-mails are sent between the Irish countryside and Paris, discussing ideas, proposing images and preparing materials. His prints, which explore the relationship between nature and architecture, always combine several techniques, from collage and litho to photogravure, etching, stitching, woodcut and hand interventions.
